about me

A long term resident of Lisburn, my husband David and I raised our four children there and still live in the area.

I practised as a solicitor for many years before running my husband David's constituency office in Upper Bann for fifteen years. I served two terms on the Equality Commission, followed by a term on the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission, where I opposed the Commission's proposals for a Bill of Rights for Northern Ireland.

I currently sit on the board of the Northern Ireland Memorial Fund and as a music lover I Chair the Ulster Youth Orchestra encouraging young people to perform in a top class orchestra.

I firmly believe that the link up with the Conservative Party is the best way forward for Unionism in Northern Ireland, giving electors the opportunity to have their say, not just in local issues, but in national politics.
